That top came past my desk when I was speccing out my new bass and although I love that wavy bubinga with the sapwood look, there's just a tad too much of the sapwood in there.
In the end the choice was made for me as it was only thick enough for a century standard plus which led me to a particularly tasty piece of Koa!
Still, i'm really keen to see this one finished!

That is a killer piece too. I actually typically prefer a bit more symetry in my tops but for some reason the bubinga piece just really caught my eyes!
I really like the CS Plus (or +) idea. They look awesome.  Did I ever suggest Black hardware?
