I love the way Roscoe puts a birdseye maple fingerboard between the darker top wood and headstock. It just adds a elegance factor to the bass.

The combination of the tobacco sunburst finish on the body and headstock and maple (of any kind) fingerboard is one of my favorite. It is just so classic, and so classy.

My two favorite Century Standard combos are TSB/Maple and Natural/Rosewood.

I just love contrast between the body and fingerboard...

That is just so totally my kind of bass! From the woods to the resulting look - hooglie mooglie. I'm not familiar with the pre-amp, but I'm just imagining how sweet this instrument must sound.

If one like this was available when I bought mine, I'd have certainly picked it first. Not that I don't like mine...

I love the look of the Tobacco Sunburst finish on that bass. My SKB 3006 fretted is very similar with the exception of the fretboard. It's like Gard says, It's classic and very, very classy.

I was lucky enough to play it as well..

I never took much interest in 6's until I grabbed this one. It's amazing. The Audere preamp (although it normally wouldn't have been my first choice) gives you a ridiculously massive range of usable (and great) tones to work with. It definitely brings a different character to the Roscoe sound. I woulda bought it on the spot if I had the dough
