5866 - It's mine!

Picked up this baby on Saturday, I don't think I could be happier!

Fit and finish, incredible, but what I most like about this bass is that it just seems to scream at me to play it! I love the tones, the action... ok, I like everything!

Very nice! What type of tone wood is between the top and the body?

It's Spanish Cedar with Exhibition Quilted Maple top, Maple/Purpleheart neck, Maple fretboard, Tobacco Sunburst. It was born in the USA on August 28th and serial number is #5866!

I believe that's one of Keith's patented "pinstripe" finish tricks. No extra piece of wood there, he just tapes off a pinstripe before doing the 'burst.
