I love it! What a combination of woods - lucky is the cat who ends up with that one. Elder over ash with a cocobolo board....why is it the word, "sweet" comes to mind?

I dig the Wenge "plates" I've seen popping up on some new Roscoes.

I like the wood accent laminates that occasionally pop up, too. When I was specing this bass out, I didn't request it, but I always give the guys in the shop freedom and "creative license" to add extra elements like that when they see fit. I've yet to be disappointed with what they come up with.

I agree, the carving on Roscoe bodies just lends itself to enhanced laminates and contrasting colors.

That inlay looks like the symbol for a Hurricane, I would have thought this was going to The Perfect Bass instead of Blueberry Hill Basses.
