5990 & 5991, aka The Twins!

Here's a neat project, matching LG 3005's, but one is fretted, one fretless - other than frets (or a lack thereof) and the 12th fret inlay on the fretted, the specs are identical:

LG 3005
Spalted Flame Maple top
Swamp Ash body
Natural finish
Bartolini 3-band preamp
Bartolini CB pickups
Black Ebony fingerboard
Graphite nut
Black hardware

Without further ado, the full monty, front and back:

Holy wow! The twins are gorgeous. I can't decide which top I like better, but the ebony fingerboards are stunning.

Man alive, I LOVE my job!!! I can't wait to crack these babies open tomorrow AM.

Gard has put me on notice - I MUST sell these as a pair, it would be sacraligious to do otherwise.

Just kidding... sort of

Methinks there are at least a few Roscoeheads contemplating the (comparatively) short drive to Blacksburg as I type.

It would be awesome to see these go as a set. I bet they both sound incredible!

This falls under the heading of "Stupid Questions".

Yo, he's a RETAILER, then answer is obvious: AS MANY AS HE CAN!!!

(...which is, interestingly enough, exactly the same plan I have... )

The more pressing question is how many pairs are you buying?

Dang, this forum has been downright viscous the past few days

We gotta give props to the poachdog, he did order two mac-daddy Roscoes last month. Granted, not twins like these... but that just means he's got some more ordering to do!!

Oh, he dishes it out as well as anyone, so he'd darn well better be able to take it!

...especially if he serves up a fat target like THAT one was!

You knuckleheads! They were going to be a surprise to the board!

To the rest of you non-dealers and non-manufacturers; I can neither confirm nor deny the pending order of a fretted and fretless Roscoe LG.

Especially since I can't get Gard to take any pictures of my birthday presents and email them to me.

Yes, everything we do (including the Century Standards) have 18v preamps standard.

hmmm... I really, really like the swamp ash back on the fretted (nudge, nudge)

(assuming the fretted stayed on the left for the backside shots)

Ooooooops. So I guess the other stuff you told me about pending charges (statutory something or other?) and the sex change operation are secret, too? Mum's the word.

No, we can talk openly about marital problems, legal matters, and financial faux pas.

ONLY CUSTOM ROSCOE BUILDS ARE TABOO!
