...I've been a bit slack with the in-progress stuff, so I'm going to try and make up for it a bit...

Here's a nice one:

SKB 3005
Katalox top
Swamp Ash body
Natural finish
Bartolini 3-band preamp
Bartolini CB pickups
Exhibition Cocobolo fingerboard
No 12th fret inlay
Graphite nut
Black hardware
Case

Body finished shaping, sealer coat applied; neck blank assigned.

Body, front only:

Check out the raw top... you could just tell this was going to make a spectacular bass. Then Roscoe goes and puts the dark laminate (wenge again?) underneath it in the body sandwich... man, I LOVE that look.

In the backyard of some dude in Greenville that insists on playing painted basses and just doesn't realize he's got killer wood right outside his door.

...Katalox comes from Central America, southern Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, etc...cool stuff, hm?

It should go together today, and if there is time between it being assembled and shipped, I'll make sure to get some good shots of it.

Greg, darn you for this bass!

I was doing alright this morning, until opening this thread. You sure know how to pick 'em.

Hey, at least I am comforted in knowing that my first Roscoe will be here today!
