Oooh.. this one is destined for my store, too!

If I recall, I was inspired to order this bass by a Sad**sky similar to this one:

I just think a sunburst over Spalted Maple is tooooo cool, especially when the wood itself already has that sort of bursted coloration naturally.

OK...now back to the pretty bass potential......

Sad**Sky ..... Is that an American Indian owned company?

Sweet looking top Greg! Spalts and burls make me do impulsive things!

Oh, my goodness!!! I LOVE that Wenge in the body, I really dig being able to see so much of it. I guess that's due to the top being a tad thinner than usual?

OOOOOOooooooooohhhhhhhhhh... Now that is nice. The exaggerated exposure of the Wenge with the (Maple??) really make the lines of the body shape stand out. I can just imagine what an Ash, or Alder body and a three laminate (Wenge, Maple, and Bubinga) top would look and sound like... Say like a lined fretless 6x2 SKB or a Century.
I'm in serious need of sleep...
