Reckon we'll get that tuned down to a useable B, or it'll start to loose it after D ?

I don't think it'll do the trick to B, sorry....you'll have to experiment with it.

It's not the end of the world. Generally when I need a low B I have a choice of 3 or 4 Octave pedals at my feet

Only sounds right when the bass going in has a solid even tone over the whole neck though... And only a Roscoe really ticks that box for me!
