We have a street dance in Dalton, MN, so we'll be on a large outdoor setup, and I will be able to really crank up the Eden and see what it can do.
We have quite a bit of stuff lined up after that, so in the following weeks I should really have had a chance to compare all three basses in a live setting.
Friday night, we are auditioning a new drummer, so I'll get a little bit of a chance to get familiarized with it then.

From what I am hearing, it is coming very, very, very close to nailing the sound I was hearing in my head (and tried describing to Gard) when I ordered it.
This JM might just be the bass that could take the main bass position away from my 3005. My J came close, but couldn't quite do it (although I still love it). Time will tell.

The slap tone is out of this world---as close to Stingray-era Flea (or my idea/take on it) as I could ever hope to get out of a bass, without buying an actual MM. The fingerstyle tones were killin', too. I am very, very pleased with how this thing sounds in a live setting, which, to me, is the only thing that matters.
