Active/Aggressive Tone

I really love the tone of my stingray - any options on Roscoes that can create that tone?

I don't know how to get that tone out of a Roscoe b/c they are so much more "hi fi" than that. . .

. . . but if you want your Roscoe to feel like a SR, you can hang a 2 lb weight from the headstock.

or remove the neck PU ,and replace the bridge PU to the SR PU. It'll help a bit.

FunkyLemz,
If you pan the bridge p/u fully to the bridge and boost the upper mids a bit you can come fairly close to the sound a Stingray.

IMO you'll definitely enjoy playing the Roscoe more though. IMO it's a much more comfortable feeling neck, lighter (and better balanced) instrument and unlike the Stingray, the 3005 since has no tendency to allow pulling the G string off the edge of the finger board.

Yet again, Joe's answer is the one I would have given.

Oh, and Databass, can I answer the question in your user title? Or am I disqualified?
