Another Custom Century Roscoe

Here's a pic of my new Roscoe Century. Alder body, walnut top, maple fingerboard, 34" scale, Bart CB's in 60's Jazz location, Aguilar 3-band. It will eventually have Fat Stacks in it when they're done. This is a great bass, very deep sounding and Fender like but with a much more solid low end.

Thumbs up

Very nice Mr. Parker!

I love the contrast of the walnut top with the maple board.

I'm not a big fan of dots on the finger board but at least they are subtle.........

I have to agree with Jome, the woods contrast nicely. The body is gorgeous!

I would love to have a 4 string Century.

Thank GOD this isn't a 6 (34 scale, maple fb and all). I would have to find ways to relieve you of it.....

That is WAY handsome Peter! I love the walnut that Keith and crew set aside for you!

I assume this is a Peter Parker One-off and not something they're going to do as a practice. (It's because of your crime-fighting talents that Keith is willing to do this for you!)

How is this one compared to your walnut bodied one?

This one is a bit deeper sounding, much more Fender like. The walnut one is a little more "musical" sounding, more mids and a little more compressed. This one is quite open, probably has a lot to do with the maple board. I'm still getting aquainted.

Man, that is exactly the dream bass I have in my head right now, but with a rosewood board, and lefty. . .
