I figured as much. I was just having a little fun.

I don't have anything against pickguards per se, my comparison was along the lines of oil/water.

I've heard good things about the bass in question. I know a guy who had a five string RB Jazz. I don't know if he still has it, though. He is a member in good standing of the bass of the month club.

Even a bad one.

Now any one have a Epi Newporter bass pickguard?
I doubght it I just made one from a drawing for a guy who has been looking for it 7 years.
