"back in the day"...

I'm sure this really MIGHT not fit in this forum...but i felt compelled. Its pretty f'n cool to see a whole forum for Roscoe, many years ago (actually around '87, '88 or so) I lived a block and a half from Keith Roscoe's shop/store in a small upstairs spot on Tate St. in Greensboro, NC.
I took a couple of basses to him to put some pick-ups in and set up...really cool guy, down to earth, and helpful. Bought a short scale fender from him that i had for a while...still have the pickups from that bass- a couple of old bartolini j pickups (the bass had some mods).
Anyway, thought i would share- i have vivid memories of checking out the airbrushed custom guitars on the wall!! Well..it was the late 80's after all!!
have fun,
c

Chuck!

I hope you get a chance to stop by one day, it would be cool meet you. Keith has told us all stories about you and your brother....

...y'all might have heard of Chuck's brother, Ben...

(FYI, Chuck, Ben wrote the song that my wife and I used as the processional at our wedding, "The Luckiest". Tell him we said thanks, it's a beautiful song, and exactly how we feel about each other! )

Yup, directly across the street from the Auto Glass shop and next door to the dog groomer's place where Spring, Battleground, Fisher, and Edgeworth all cross. (Man, that intersection confused me the first time I came here! )

Definitely stop by sometime man!
