Yay I had been having quite a problem recently. about 3 months ago I purchased a beautiful lg-3005 from a fellow TBer and when I got it it came with a bart audere set up. it sounded ok but not what I was used to hearing in the stores, then I gave an aggie pre a try. Yuk and recently I popped a bart tct in there ang bingo. sounds like perfection. I don't even have the mid boost module in there but it still sounds great. I was curious what all you different expireances were with different pre's in your roscoes. |

Personally, I like the flavor of all of the current choices. They each tend to bring out something a bit unique for each instrument.
Glad that you found the one that does it for you. The Bart/Bart combo is certainly classic Roscoe tone! |

I like the lows of the Aggie the best.
I like the mids of the Bart.
I like the glassy highs of the Demeter.
I like the flexibility of the Audere.
Now, if we can only find a way to get every best attribute into one preamp and I'd be set!

For my tone tastes. |

Hope that all is well.
Santa's coming to Georgia a bit early this year. Actually next week!
+1 to your comments. I'd still like to here the Glock pre.
I'm really digging the versatility of the Audere pre for now but a couple of the previous 3006's that I owned with the Roscoe Demeter pre really had a killer sound! |

That bass was stunning and if it had the 19mm neck it would have stayed with me. Are you selling the audere preamp as I may want to try it on one of my other basses?

Chris | So gt96g is the TB'er that got the Roscoe that I was really Gasing for!
That is a very nice looking myrtle burl topped Roscoe! I'm surprised that the Audere didn't do it for you gt96g.
Of course I haven't heard it with the Bart p/u's yet but it sounded very nice with the Nordstand p/u's.
I hope that I'm not disappointed with the Audere paired with the Bart CB's....Of course we all hear different sounds in our head....... |

The Classics sound like the Roscoe/Barts but more open. It will still sound like a Roscoe. |
