I think I'm a sucker for the light striping down the center of the body. The singlecut on Nordstrands homepage is my all time favorite top, maybe my next roscoe will have something like that going on.......... Oh wait. thats right. I'm broke |

I smell a mini GTG | I'm down for a drive up to the mountains sometime in January, I'll get in touch with Mike and see what his situation looks like!

It's nice to see some projects on there that I remember, and it's also interesting to see newer versions of basses that were inspired by previous unique projects. The original ebony sapwood bass (5-string SKB that originally went to Jake, if I remember correctly), has spawned at least 3 or 4 other similar basses. Mark's original Ziracote bass has also generated 2 or 3 other immitators that have all turned out to be one-off, unique instruments in their own right. Those are some great looking photos of great sounding basses! |

Sorry I missed catching up on this thread till now, did you come to Asheville for the weekend, Or did you just hang out in your kitchen the whole time? Next time, I'll give you the grand tour, there was some great music in town this weekend.
JPJ- Mine is a one off copy of Gards fretless, not the ebony SKB5. I absolutely love the ebony sapwood basses that have come through your shop though, perusing the roscoes on your website gives me heart palpitations...
This is some killer Bubinga! |

I am a Roscoe user as well and just bought an old Sky Scraper 4 string with the old headstock and Sky Scraper written on the front. It is in like new condition. I'm looking for a little history. |
