Bass is in production

Got a nice surprise when Gard sent me the pixs of the body with top and back on my first Roscoe a few hours ago.

Spec is

Century Signature 4
Spanish Cedar
Monkey Pod top and back
Oil/satin
Wenge fingerboard
12th fret inlay
Diamond wood nut
Bart pre amp
Roscoe Bart's
Wenge Wenge maple Wenge Wenge 5 piece neck

Thanks for all the advice I got from here which helped with the spec

Nice spec's Wayne .......

Post the pic's!

If you really want to dress up that wenge finger board change the 12th fret inlay to monkey pod. It would really look nice in that wenge finger board.

The 12th fret inlay will be Monkey Pod mate!
Jon I checked out your Monkeyman before placing the order. This one wont have the same high quality 'driver' but I'm enthusiastic..can't wait to see a darker fingerboard with the Monkey Pod. Haven't seen one anywhere yet.

Good luck, sounds awesome. Jon's bass is incredible and light. He's not too shabby a player either!

Congrats, I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Jon is about 2 decades ahead of me in ability (as opposed to age) although I'm decent with a pick. Mine is book matched top (and back) as well.

Cheers for the edit Joe
