It's been less than a full day since I tried my first Roscoe and I'm already considering taking the plunge . I don't have the funds to grab a new Roscoe but is there good place to find used Roscoes apart from Talkbass? I'm think TB is my best option but I figured I's ask anyway.

I did that ... but then ended up getting a great deal from a fellow TB'er. |

lsu921 has got a used Roscoe for sale every 6 weeks, homeboy can't hang onto 'em!
eBay is good resource.
The Perfect Bass and Bass Central are okay, but they often want too much for a used instrument.
Gard (Roscoe GM) can point you to good sources also as he has his finger on the pulse of alot of Roscoeheads.

To the OP, we don't "officially" keep track of used stuff, and never involve ourselves in pricing or selling it. However, I definitely try to keep an eye open, so if anything pops up, I'll let you know...

Gard mentioned that, and I will be the first to vouch for that bass being a monster player. If that one pops up, that would be a GREAT one to get ahold of.
Provided it's still in mint condition like it was when I sold it to Dwayne, I'm thinking that one should go for over $2k, though. |

Asking Price $1700 shipped and he is in DALLAS, TEXAS (eh Gard). Though I can't vouch for the seller, I think that's one of the best prices I've seen on a Roscoe on TB. I wish I could afford it, but somebody deserves a good deal.
God Bless, Ray

I'll take my own pics when I have the bass but these are the ones from when it was at ThePerfectBass.com:
Sexy beast ! Doesn't hurt that it matches my Spectors either . If it sounds anything like the one I check out at Jive Sound I'll beyond happy. If I dig it and my Euro 6LX sells I'll be be on the hunt for a 6er too. Here's hoping that it does and soon.

Man, that's a killer for a "first" Roscoe!
I remember that bass well, beautiful to start with, just a real eye-catcher. Tonally, not the super brightest bass (Spanish Cedar & Boxelder Burl isn't BRIGHT), but with the Nords and the African Tulipwood fingerboard, there is a good bit of snap/clarity on tap with it.
Welcome to the family!
