| | | | The Big Red One Roscose SKB 3006 Roscoe Fans,
Here are two pictures of my baby. I asked Keith and the guys to make me something extra special when I was in Iraq with the US Army's 1st Infantry Division Band for OIFII, Operation Iraqi Freedom 2. This is what Roscoe guitars made for me. Keith and the boys sent me pictures during various stages of building which I enjoyed beyond words.
The bass is as follows Roscoe Red, figured maple top, spanish cedar back, maple neck and fingerboard, the inlay is ebony outlined with aluminum and the red is an exact match for the red in the patch. Now I asked if they could inlay the 1 in the fingerboard and I sent Keith and the guys one of my combat patches. I just figured I'd get just the number 1 but no, I got the whole patch! It nearly brought tears to this soldiers eyes.
So I bet your wondering how it plays, right? This bass basically plays itself. Any mistakes that are made while playing this bass are my own. Roscoe guitars have out done themselves, yet again! Keith, Gard and the guys of Roscoe guitars, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks for stepping up to the plate and defending us too!
I live in Warner Robins and we're proud of ALL of the guys and gals that serve us so proudly!
If you're ever stationed in WRAFB make sure that you shoot me a line so we can get together. God bless America and Roscoe's!

Very good to have you here, and along with the rest of the guys, thanks for all you've done for us as citizens/residents of the US.
Us Roscoe folks are just happy to have been able to do something for you.
Y'all, that bass turned out beautifully, we really were happy with how it all fit together, and Sanders NAILED that inlay, didn't he?
Jason is a great player, don't let him tell you otherwise...
...and again man, it's awesome to have you here, hope you can participate regularly!

| | | | Ok, here is my Gard is a great guy story. This is when Gard was working at Bass Central. I called BC to order the Fodera Private Practice Amp and I got Gard on the phone and he said "yeah we have it in stock but you need special cables to hook up a cd player to it, just go to Radio Shack and pick it up." So I explained my situation to him and I asked if he could pick it up for me and he said "sure no problem." This was and is a huge deal to me because he actualy took the time to help me out. Many, many manufactures will not give you the time of day for customer service but Gard, Keith and Roscoe are aces!
One time I tried to get help with a dead amplifier while deployed and a company that will remain nameless, two initials for the name, after I told them hey I'm in Iraq and your amp died. Told me 1) take it to a local music store and 2) take it to where you bought it. In case anyone is wondering there aren't any Guitar Centers in Tikrit and if I could have gone back to Germany to go have a beer and get the amp fixed I would have.
Anyway Gard is the man!

Man, that was no big deal, really...I drove past a Radio Shack to & from work back then. It added all of 5 minutes to my drive home one evening, and was the least I could do for you, considering the sacrifice you and your brothers & sisters in the service do for all of us.
I was, and still am, just happy to be able to help out in any small way.
Thank YOU man.
