It seems to be drifting lower as I play my bass.... I set my action before researsal to .08, by the time that I finished my set (about 45 minutes) it drifted to .05.
I understand that there is physics at work here, but it doesn't seem right that the saddles move that much.... The only solution that I can think of is putting some blue locktite on the set screws, but I wanted to run this up the flag pole with my Roscoe bretheren first...
Any info or input is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!!!!

Unfortunately, we do not spend enough time with the basses to discover this, and Hipshot does not really have any way to test for it.
The solution is one of two things:
1) Difficult - have us send a new saddle (which SHOULD fix the issue, but may not - no way to guarantee it, unfortunately)
2) Simple - get some blue loctite and put just a dot on the top of the screw once it's where you want it - will stop it from vibrating loose, but not keep you from being able to adjust it when you need or want to
If I can help, let me know!
(...oh yeah: GEAUX SAINTS!!! )

SKOL VIKES!!! | I think that's the best choice, and it has always been effective (not the first time we've heard this one ).
Enjoy Brent's retirement party Sunday. At least he won't have far to go afterward to get home (50 miles as the crow flies from the 'Dome).
GEAUX SAINTS!!!

You sure the Gris Gris man ain't whooped a funk on bassmahn's bridge? Y'know for digging the Country Dumbkin'?
bassmahn, I suggest after applying the blue loctite, get yourself a mojo hand. Wards off the Gris Gris stank.
God Bless, Ray

God Bless, Ray | Well, you know me...my opinion is that anyone that actually roots FOR Brent FAR-VUH brings the gris gris on themselves, only way to ward it off completely is to renounce your love of Wrangler Jeans, Sears TV's, and guys from Kiln, MS that can't pronounce their last name correctly...
...if he REALLY wants to fix it, he needs to wear black and gold on Sunday and holler "WHO DAT!" a lot....

I'm sure that Gard will enjoy that!
......he does of course deserve it based on his 2nd reply to your original question!
......go easy on the paying customers Gard!
Oh yeah, go easy on the loctite. It will discolor the finish on the black hardware. A little goes a long way.......

I dabbed a very small amount on a toothpick and applied it to the threads.... I assumed that it will wick into the threads
I let it cure over night, and it seemed to do the trick
So thanks for the advise, and SKOL VIKES!!!!!
