Spalted/Flame maple top

You are the man Gard.

The Aggie OB1 pre sound a tad bit warmer to me than the Sadowsky and the Sadowsky pre has a bit more a range as far as bass & treble taper goes, not as immediate. As always it's a matter of taste, both great pre's.

At any rate, I played a Roscoe LG with a mahogany body, myrtle burl top, maple finger board, Nord singles and an Aggie OPB-3 pre and it sounded very nice. That's very close to your spec's! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
