This bass is real and looks, sounds fantastic in person. The owner has a jamaican stage persona and will play reggae on occasion hence the Rasta colors. The owner picked it up today and was blown away. He's a great player and happens to be the cousin of a very famous bassist. He came to the shop today at 11am and played it until 6pm. He could not put it down. It was cool except for the fact that I close at 5PM on Saturdays

Unreal!
Well I'd have to say he's got one unique looking Roscoe!

Yeah, it's not for everybody but it's perfect for this guy. Keith and the guys did an incredible job on it.

First, Adron, you were THERE? Lucky bizzatch!!!

Finally, yes, Joe, as Spidey has shared, it is indeed the "real thing", and it looks even cooler in person than in photos. I'll have some finished pics up on Monday, I didn't have the time to get them edited & posted Friday. It plays and sounds incredible, I actually had to pick my personal bass up to remind myself that I didn't need another fretless!

Spidey, good to hear that he dug it, I figured he would...I'm guessing we'll have a visitor on Monday!

My best friend got season tickets for his birthday. We were right in front of the blocked kick, 26 rows back. I don't think I've ever experienced anything quite like that day.

Now back to your regularly scheduled Roscoe thread...

Y'all should have strung the A and D strings with Maxima strings.
