Customer Service at Roscoe

Being self employed for the last 27 years, I've been well aquainted with many different degrees of competance regarding customer service. I've also learned that you really don't know the true mettle of a company or individual until their are issues concerning service or product (and believe me, in progression of time, there will be things that need addressed with any entity regardless of caliber due to the fact we are all human and live in a world with many variables).

In other words, you see what someone is made of in these instances.

I had an issue with the neck on my beloved #5850 (funny side note- I've gotten really attached to my LG over the last month like never before while #5850's been visiting in NC) and Keith and company have gone OVER THE TOP to make ABSOLUTELY SURE my bass is 100% perfect.

My point is to give credit where credit is due and praise Roscoe Guitars for being true professionals.

Again, my sincere thanks and appreciation,

Doug

Gard must've taken the loss to the Cards rough and enacted the "Noodle Neck Voodoo" on ya Doug.

Yep, the customer service that Keith and the kids are known for is top notch. It's the lunatic owners of their fine basses that leave me scratching my head....

I'm currently experiencing the greatness of Roscoe customer service as well. My new Roscoe had an issue, and Keith and the gang are going over the top to fix it. I am certain that most other luthiers would not treat me as respectfully in the same situation.

Thanks Gard, Keith, and the rest of the Roscoe team.

The majority of reputable Luthiers are really decent folks that enjoy establishing a good relationship with their customers. It's just good business.. What is profoundly unique about Keith and the gang is they let me imagine Gard working in the nude...

Excellent CS indeed, even when you buy used, like when I bought my SKB from Greg, the owner didn't pass along the letter from Keith, so Gard rounded up a digital copy and passed it along to Greg for me.

Sometimes it's the small things that can make a big difference.

No complaints, but there was that issue of mass blindings...

I haven't had any issues with any of my Roscoes that I have owned/currently own (well, none that we'll talk about here--nudge nudge, wink wink, Gard...), but even that little mistake was made more than right with me. But, the help/info/advice that I've gotten from Gard on their basses, IMO, is also great customer service.

Even if he's a little "off", he still ain't a bad guy.

Hey hey.... I'm not judging anyone or anything here... Far be it from me to make false accusations of any sort. Hell man, I regularly conduct business in the nude.. So I'm not going to lead anyone on to believe that Gard is a little OFF for his choice of work attire, or lack thereof... (I wonder if I would get more clients if I dressed appropriately for the job?? NAWWWWW!!!!!)

I leave you now with what can only be said to be the weirdest thread derailing in Roscoe forum history... My Trophy Please......

Can I jump in here too? I would also like to recognize Keith, Gard and the rest of the Roscoe crew for outstanding customer service with my SKB. They really went out of their way to help me out and in the end, I got my bass back in brand new condition. I have to confess, the issue I had was of my own creation so there really was no compelling reason for them to give me the stellar effort and speedy service they did. A sincere Thanks from here!
