Does anyone know who picked up the Rosoce 6 string on ebay for $1100?

Got back in too late to bid, and saw only one bid - $1100! Someone has lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Here's the thread to check it - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350124901012

I saw that too. Sent me into a fit of cursing and small object hurling. I did okay, though. I got this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380074625010

I got to use a $100 ebay coupon, so the deal was all the sweeter.

It's SKB2006 #3143. Really nice shape overall - just some light normal-use wear. Sounds great. It was the victim of a - shall we say *non-traditional* - setup. Action was so high my cat could walk under the strings - must have been used as a crossbow. Or maybe a tarp was thrown over the strings and it was used as a lean-to. You get the picture.

It's safe in daddy's arms now, and I'm restoring it to a more sensible setup. Any suggestions or rules of thumb (even though I don't use mine to play a bass) would be helpful. The neck has about the right slight bow, and it's playing nicely now that the jackscrews on the bridge tailpieces aren't turned almost out the bottoms anymore.

I'm glad to join the Roscoe club!

Thumbs up

Man!

Both great deals!

I guess that the old saying "right place, right time" still applies!
