It's gonna be painful for the UPS driver if they don't show tonight!

Finally...except now it's bed time and as Robin is out with the girls tonight, it's my task to get the kids down by myself...I'll never get this out of the box! :-)

Amazing. Plays itself. Tone to die for.

That's after 5 minutes....

Perfect tone. Exactly what I wanted. The attack/definition is incredible. Notes speak immediately.

Very nice Steve, gorgeous, congratulations!! Maybe I should have waited to come up an check out your P&W group until you had both Roscoes. Somehow we're gonna' have to make a ND, and maybe NW MN, GTG happen. Have fun with the new one.

Oh, and BTW, thanks to you, and your team, for entertaining us at your church last weekend. It was an informative (despite the tech problems) and good time.

It was fun to have you there. Glad it was informative despite the blowing of the sub amp. That Roscoe B string is devastating!

And yes, I think we have enough people around here for a GTG.

See page 2 for pics.

I'll post some of the pair when I get a chance.

Here's a bad iPhone pic. I can't compete with some of you guys. Maybe in the summer when there's more time - and natural light...

I don't know what to do. I was loving the fretless at church and it sounds great, but this one really sounded great, too. It's so tight and compressed (in a good way- I think it's the CB pups that give it that sound) that it just sits in the mix so well.

It may be a Sunday by Sunday thing. If there's a tune or two that screams fretless...

I also like the fretted because I don't have to think quite so hard - pitch, technique - so I can just play if you know what I mean.

Nice problem to have I guess.

I'm already thinking about what would be a middle ground of these two. The Fretless (mahogany/JB pups) is really full and deep. The fretted (ash/CB's) has more cut or bite or something like that. Maybe a fretted with mahogany body and the 3J pups for something different yet similar, not sure about fingerboard or top wood. Maybe in a few months...

Lightbulb

Another 5 would just be redundant IMO.

Of course there is a really nice CS6+ that's currently listed on the TB classified.

You'd really enjoy that one now that you've got the 2-5's to use for your primary gigging.

With 3 SC+ models you could be the CS+ KING!!!

Maybe, but a more "jazzy" 5 would have it's place. Although I really like the sound of the CB's...

Yes, I know. As my wife said, the price is so good you almost have to buy it because its such a great deal.

Yes, yes I could. ;-)

Believe me, when I was playing some Jimmy Haslip stuff the thought of that 6 crossed my mind more than once...

I am at two CS+ and one CS now (plus my SKB custom)

Not sure I'm "done" either...
