Example of "Classic Burst"

I'm curious to see if there are any of you out there with a Roscoe that has this finish. It's in the catalog and I don't think it's new; I'm familiar with the Tobacco Burst and Amber Burst finishes but I can't think that I've ever seen a Roscoe that was described as Classic Burst in person or on the web.

Thanks!

Jeff, don't have a photo I can get up quickly now, but will tomorrow. We've done it for quite a while, actually, but not too often - it's just a 2-tone sunburst, while a "tobacco sunburst" is a 3-tone.

A non-member here tipped me off to this photo. While a subtle difference, I think I like it a bit more than the tobacco burst

^ good deal!

I was scouring my photo files yesterday, and failed to find a GOOD shot of that finish...was going to spend a bit of time over the weekend checking in a few other nooks & crannies here on my HD, but you did indeed find an excellent photo!

Jeff,
Here's a pic of a very nice playing sunburst finished Roscoe that I owned for a while. More of a traditional sunburst finish.

^^^ Thanks Ray!

Yeah, that only 1 of 2 that I've owned with a tinted finish.

You need a blue one . They've got the most Roscoe mojo.

No sir.

The black/gold ones do.

So just confirming, the one Joe posted has a Classic Burst finish, or Tobacco Burst in Roscoe terms? It looks like it has 3 colours to me. I like both 2 and 3 colour bursts, but prefer the more traditional looking ones that have the black limited to just along the edges and seem generally lighter in the middle.

Is that why there's an upcharge on the Black / Gold finish?

Here's a good example of the Tobacco, by way of comparison:
