One excellent pair, both are utter beautys, just need a 5er, or a fretless, or killing two birds with one stone, a fretless 5er, to round out the set....

(Oh man, am I gonna get pounded here)....I've been working a lot on my V-Bass, and I've come pretty close to the sound of my SKB.......then I toss it in fretless mode..

But you're right, a "real" fretless would be nice!

I have a session this weekend.
I'll throw a few sample down switching back and forth and let you guys take a guess at it.

It's pretty interesting. Yes there is a difference. It will NEVER be the same. But used it at a few gigs now, and at rehearsal, it's nutty.
The guitar player last night asked me a few times which it was- the bass or the box.

The thing that makes a world of difference is how stinkin EVEN my 6'r is.
From top to bottom, it's scary how well balanced things are.

Wow. That's some beautiful wood. That fense looks great!

Just kidding. Real nice pictures and beautiful basses.

(But yeah. A fretless Roscoe is THE fretless bass.)
