Good choice?)!!!

We donate the proceeds to our events (we have a once a month charity "full moon" yoga event) to local charities. The funny thing is I usually refer to them as "shows" and my girl calls them meditations, flows, etc... Its pretty funny, she gives me a funny look when I say "got to gear up for the show"...
The RC-20XL is what I am currently using right now, I sampled some short drum loops and ambient sounds. I just sold the GTB-6 in the picture, was only using the delay on that so I am moving back to pedals (Boss OC2, DOD FX25, EHX small clone, and currently searching for a nice delay pedal).
I mainly start with some washy delay floaty stuff, then do into some dub grooves for a good bit, switch over to some funky grooves, then start bringing it down with harmonics and chordal stuff. A good two hours of fun on the bass.

A saxophonist I play with does similar stuff - he's very into yoga (and his girlfriend runs a studio) and photography. His work as a musician and a photographer is stunning. I think the fourth one - from behind, showing your left hand - is my favorite. Undeniably Roscoe for those in-the-know, and the boket is perfect. The right stuff is in focus, and everything else supports it...man I love what a good photographer can do! |
