Moves air, cuts through, lots of presence, but not too LOUD.
Of course, each bass is slightly different.

I keep everthing else flat with the pickup pan centered. If I want a more agressive sound, I turn the pickup pan toward the bridge and boost the lows slightly. To emulate an upright, I cut-out most of the highs, and boost the low and low-mid frequencies slightly.
