I absolutely LOVE the bass, but it needed a bit of work, including a refret. Anyways, dealing with Gard and Keith was a textbook case of outstanding customer service –great communications, explanation of work being done, timely, and at a very reasonable price.
Thanks, my hats off to you guys and I can’t wait to get the bass back into action. I make it down to Asheville about once a year to visit some “good livin" folk known as my in-laws, and I may have to make a detour and drop off a case of your favorite adult beverages or some sort at the shop, or homemade cookies, etc.
Best,
--Bob |

FWIW, I LOVE this bass!
The neck is fantastic, and the tone is very cool.
It's packed, labeled, and waitin' on the brown truck already, you'll have a tracking number from UPS as soon as they scan it into the system.
We're very happy to have helped out!
Oh, and you're right about Asheville, great place, I'm going to be there doing a hang with some of the local bassists this coming Monday!

I'd be real curious to hear how the EMG's sound.
Welcome aboard! |

Just curious, your info states that you are in Boston, I live on the Cape.
Great looking bass, I had to look at the pic a few times b/c the EMG's threw me off as did the bridge. I don't know Keith, but I know Gard (a little) and nothing but Top Notch service and he has great TB cronies.
My SKB:
Maybe we can get together some day for a couple of Sam Adams' and I will introduce you to my Amber and Maple Roscoe
...looks like they could be buds!
Congrats,
Pete C. |

For almost forever I was playing one bass, a Pedulla, and then in the last year or so, I've been going through different brands like crazy, trying a different fit for feel and tone. With the one in one out policy, Ive gone through quite a few, but this LG-2005 is a keeper. It wont be my only bass, but it will fill that modern tone/slap role like nothing else has.
You'all know how GAS works: finances at the moment dictates that I have only what I NEED to get the job done, but when things on the horizon improve, I'd love to grab another Roscoe of differing specs. Again, with this one, I'll try and get an MP3 up as soon as I can so you have an idea of what it sounds like with the EMG's.
And Pete, thanks for the invite; I'm actually in Dorchester (Dahchestah) and have been ooogling you SKB thread. That thing looks beyond outstanding and can only imagine how it sounds and plays. Looks like it has more power than some 3rd world countries.
I frequent Dennis on occasion... wherabouts are you on the Cape?

I too had a Pedulla Pentabuzz for years, 1st string change the bone nut fell off , I called Pedulla and they said come up to Rockland and we'll fix if for ya and give you the tour- which I did. Cool stuff!
I live in the town of Barnstable (Baaaaaanstable), and was in Bass River / Yarmouth Area this morning. My band (and that SKB) are playing the Blue Water Resort tomorrow in S. Yarmouth, about 5 minutes from Dennis. Great outdoor gig on the ocean. Would love to catch up some time.
For now, enjoy your LG!

Pete | Thanks for the pronunciations. It gives us southern boys a chance at proper communication.
Playing a Roscoe at an outdoor gig on the ocean. Your my hero of the week. LOL. Love that quilt top SKB
Congrats on the new bass Bob as a fellow LG2005 guy, I'm anxious to hear those EMG's. |

Man, there is nothing quite like new bass day.
I think you 2 need to get a room and get to know one another. No need to que the Barry White music, he's got a bass
Have Fun!
Pic from that gig I did last thursday - * notice the shameless T-shirt plug.
Now we need to have room on this stage for you and your new Roscoe and we'll have dueling Roscoe's with Sam Adams Lager on tap, Sweet Action!
