Finally, I've come to my senses.......

Yep. That's right. I am FINALLY able to rejoin the Roscoe club.

Just made a deal to trade my F Bass BN5 for an SKB3006.

This one, to be exact (#5638):

5638

Yes, I am happy.

Nice score Ryan! Congrats!...beautiful instrument. If you don't mind shoot me a PM describing the Nord/Audere combo...I ordered a Century Sig. VI with these electronics and was wondering about their sound...

Congrats again and welcome back to Roscoetopia!

Once I get it, I'll let you know my thoughts on it. It's shipping to me on Wednesday, so it'll be early next week before I see it here.

Probably should have waited until I got it here to post, but dang, I've been lurking on the Roscoe forum for long enough now. It's been two years since I've owned my last one.

If you don't mind, I'd be interested in hearing what you think of the Nord/Audere combo as well ... you could post some pictures and turn it into a thread where we drool over your new axe (and see what you think of the electronics). That is a beauty. Congrats!

Nice Ryan ! Good choice haha. Joel B. has an SKB with the Wenge Wedge neck and Wenge fb, and I think it sounds great. Gives a lot of clarity to the whole sound, and makes me kinda wish I had ordered my Roscoe with at least a Wenge fb -_-.

Haha and I was a little tempted to shoot a PM over to offer for my SKB... but when I thought about it a little longer... I decided it'd be best not to let go of the Roscoe lol.

Hope you enjoy it when you get it and let us know how you like it.

Thanks!!

And it's about 5 degrees F here today. We've had a bit of a cold spell here again. The best was Saturday night when we were loading out after a gig---we had -40 F windchills to contend with. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to spring.

Congrats, Ryan. That is a gorgeous bass! I made a similar trade -- a BN6 for a SKB3005. I missed my LG3000 (that I traded away) and its sledgehammer tone. I have that tone back now!

Well, it's shipping today, so hopefully I'll have it by about Tuesday of next week. I'm really looking forward to getting this one.

I remember that one! That was a BHB project we did last year. Great pick-up, Ryan. Glad to see you're finally coming back home.

Funny how you can end up where you started and realize that's where you always belonged, isn't it?

It took a lot of basses and a lot of money to make me realize that.
