Yo go Bill!
I do remember you posting recently about your desire to install a tremolo on a bass.

I demand clips.

Indeed, a Hipshot one, I should have mentioned at that time, it wouldn't be my first trem!

I have two basses with Kahlers.

I've invested my gold.... in teeth.

Seems there's not as big a market for black teeth as there is Black Hardware. (I don't get it)

I think you should mount it on the passive blue LJ 3004 with the white pearloid pickguard.

Roll onto the bridge pup, hit the G string, and you'll be luck to get a gnat's fart.

Put the neck and bridge pickups in the 60s position then put the center pickup as close to the 70s position. Add a pickup selector switch and you can get any J bass tone you want.

I thought you'd be more into the Hipshot one, being that you use regular Hipshot hardware.

The Kahler, to get decent low action means you have to countersink the whole deal, not to mention it's very awkward to adjust intonation and string height(have to take the string off to do either).

That said, it's a quality piece, very stable, and has no ill effect on sustain.

Oh my! This thread is getting very interesting!

I really like the recent more open attitude of the Roscoe team!

...... now about that black hardware on the Standards....
