Thumbs up

Welcome back atrapp!

Nice looking Roscoe!

I'm sure starting to see a lot more 4 banger Roscoe's now........

I wonder what's up with that!

...Do you think it's because folks are finally starting to find out that a Roscoe is much more than an awesome low B?

Atrapp,
Pleasantly surprised to see you with a Roscoe again!

I know you to go for a pretty cutting edgy tone. Does this one foot that bill?

I'm doing good, thanks!

Holding at 2 Roscoes - the fretted that you had for a short while, and a fretless.....

I want a 4 string Roscoe to replace my Jazz bass, not that my Jazz is a bad bass, I just like the feel and the sound of the Roscoe basses better.

Since we are entering into the Thanksgiving/Christmas season I thought I would put on some ragged clothes and stand at a busy intersection with a sign that says, "Down on my Luck and Need money for New Roscoe Bass.", Just to see if anyone would donate. I told my wife about this idea and she said if I embarrassed her in that way, she would run me over with her car.

She just doesn't understand.

I'll second that! I love that finish. It reminds me of my calico cat.

Bass is here!

looks awesome, plays quite well and surprising to me the tone is rather dark, not bad dark - just not as bright as I would expect from such a "small" bass. Lotso balls and very punchy - I haven't weighed it yet - but I bet it is under 8lbs.

All in all it's a fun addition to the quiver.

Thanks Bob!

Hey Toby,
If you want a brighter tone, go for the Aguilar preamp! If it has the stock Bart preamp, it will only give you "warm and punchy". If you are looking for "slammin' growl and trebly" go for the Aguilar.

I have a set of Nordy big singles and an Audere pre lying around. I think I'll swap the Barts for the Nordys first (it's just easier) they'll add a lot of brightness and slam, depending on the results I might add the Audere or pull an OPB3 out of my Mod M92...

She def. is a beauty.. I actually contemplated buying this for some weird and insane reason... Anyho I bel. the Nords have to be custom made to work in the slant position. I was thinking about doing this exact thing. I'm willing to bet just putting the Audere in there will open things up quite a bit.. Anyways congrats and enjoy..If I'm ever able to sell some of my other gear I cough cough might be able to cough cough take this off your hands should you cough cough decided to part ways..

the big singles, fat stacks and big splits work fine for the LG's. sha another roscoehead put them in his LG and you can check out the pictures if you look for his thread.

That was Sha975/Deon that did that change, and I'd ask if he had them custom made or not. They MAY work, but I wouldn't bet on it...
