Greeting all!

I thought I'd stick my head in the door & say hello. I just acquired a Roscoe from a TB-er (thanks David). It's this one:

Roscoe LG 3005

Even though I've been at this for a while (I played the after-party when Adam & his chick Eve got kicked out of the park), this bass represents a number of firsts for me: 1st 5-string, 1st 35" scale, 1st non-jbass, and 1st Roscoe. So far, I'm pretty smitten. I'm hoping you'll be gentle if I ask something that's old news, or revive a thread because I relate to it. I've been checking out the sound clips thread, and there are some seriously good players here. Congrats to all.

Yep. You're going to fit in perfectly 'round these parts.

Congrats on a beautiful instrument! I hope you love it.

Geez... you may even be older than me.

What a beautiful Roscoe to start with. Congrats.

+1 to all the above!

Welcome aboard flyman!

Nice classic looking Roscoe.

And for what it's worth, you still look young from your avatar!
