Here's mine - #5520

So cool to see the Roscoe forum (I know...I'm not on the site often enough)!

I bought my 3006 in February from Gelb in Redwood City, CA. It's my second Roscoe, and it more than makes up for having sold my first one (a fretless 3006) three years ago.

Ash topped with figured myrtle, maple/purpleheart neck with the most beautiful purpleheart board I've seen. The electronics are Bartolini and I just love the sound.

I use it on pretty much every jazz gig and have been really happy with the muscle on a lot of R&B gigs as well. Dare I say it, the Sadowsky has even had a few nights off here and there.

I've played that bass at Gelb! *It* was the reason I decided Roscoe was the way I was gonna go with a six-string. I hadn't played an SKB3006 before that. Beautiful bass, played great! Nice purple/sapwood ratio on the fingerboard. Congrats, mine is being built as we speak!

Nice SKB Vroom, I'll have to say the same, my Sadowsky has been in the case a while too.

Took some pics of my basses today and wanted to share the Roscoe.

Myrtle over ash, purpleheart fingerboard, Bartolini electronics. Currently (and happily) running MTD strings with a .135 taperd 'B.' In case anyone is interested, I used a Nikon D80 with a 50mm f/1.8 lens. Pics were taken in manual mode with a shutter speed of 1/2-second and an aperture of f/22, and then rotated and combined in Photoshop.
