Hi All...new Roscoehead here!

Many, many thanks to Leurastus for selling me this beautiful Ziracote beast! (oh and the awesome Protech soft case as well!)

I've been in the market to buy a new high-end bass for quite a while and was considering a Ken Smith until I played one of these at a local music store. Damn, I was impressed. This one plays fabulously and effortlessly. I think I would be hard pressed to find a bass I like better now. Hats off to Keith, Gard and all the folks at Roscoe!

Funny little story...

Bass comes in UPS. I tear open the box like a 5 year old at Christmas. I am loving the looks and the way it plays....soooo smooth but my rig is at a friends house and I wouldn't have the opportunity to pick it up and plug in for a day or so.

So I finally get the rig back to the house and set it up and start playing. But there is something wrong with the sound. I was adjusting here, boosting there but I just couldn't get that fat Roscoe sound I was looking forward to hearing. So after about an hour of fiddling I just said screw it...gonna start from scratch. So I centered all the settings, depressed any Hi/Low/Bright switches that were enabled and turned off the EQ. BAM there it was. Fat and growling all out my speakers! That's what really impresses me the most. Now I have windows shaking and Mr Jinx (the cat in the picture) hiding under the bed in lieu of an impending house collapse.

So again, great job Keith, Gard and everyone at Roscoe.

Looks like he's one of us, fellas. Check out his ball alignment. All brass ends facing correctly (check), beautiful Roscoe bass (check), black hardware (check for some), pet in photo (check). I'd say he is legit.

Congrats, Man. Just having fun at all of our expense. I wish you years of enjoyment.

Congradulations! Nothing like becoming a Roscoehead. It's like becoming a parent without the fully loaded turd toters.

God Bless, Ray

I'd rather be the son of a CEO. All the loot, none of the work.

Dennis, Don't go warning the guy off....... Let him wander into the back and find the real meaning to Roscoehead like I did.

God Bless, Ray

Welcome to Camp Roscoe! Please enjoy your stay. I know you will enjoy your new bass... that being said, you do loose a couple of points however, for your cat's name...
The rules clearly state, that no man shall name his cat with a "Mr." in front of his name... but the new bass allows you to make a few mistakes!
Welcome!

I believe the cat is named after Mr. Jinx from Meet the Parents. If that is the case than I say we'll let it slide, but if not................., well not sure I can think of the punishment for that

Haha...thanks for the warm welcome guys.

As for the cat, his full name is Fireball Jenkins....aka Jenkins, aka Jinx, aka Mr. Jinx. You will respect his authoritai!!

I actually named him after a dirt-track stock car racer I knew growing up in Mid GA. Poor fella couldn't keep the car on the track...
