Holly?

Would roscoe ever consider doing a holly topped bass? Or a walnut body?

Do you mean holly? In any case that question will go to Gard as I've not seen one, but the walnut body has been done for sure.

Hehe, I thought perhaps he had found a piece of burl that had a perfect likeness to the Virgin Mary in the woodgrain or something...

Holly top, haven't done it, but can. PM or e-mail me for pricing and availability, as I don't have that info handy (it's 11:30, and I'm at home! ).

Walnut body, no sweat, same as above.

That's going to be killer! Why the switch for neck pickup only? I can understand why you'd want independent control, but you could get one for each pickup.

Also, do your other Roscoes have the thin neck profile? I've only had my hands on the standard one, but I'd imagine that keeping it the same (be that standard or thin or whatever) across multiple basses would be nice for switching between them.

Congrats Tommy! Gorgeous bass. I guess that one will be on the same batch as my Century VI?

Jeff, the thin neck profile is SO COMFY I plan to send my SKB back to Keith so that they can "copy" the neck shape for the Century VI.

Tommy can tell you better, he has played mine and he has some very nice Roscoes (std. and thin neck profiles I believe).
