I just need a hug.

I really miss my Roscoe............it was just one heck of a bass to play, and I used to just sit and look at it hangin on the wall and think..."What a smokin looking/playing bass I have"

had to sell it for what else...FINANCIAL REASON ...I know, I know, get out the violins..
just needed to vent I guess.

see pic below.....

I would feel the same way if I ever had to part with my Roscoe. It is the best sounding fretted bass I have ever played.

I remember that Roscoe - when it was purchased new - can't remember the guy's name that bought it though. It wasn't you, was it Fire Starter?

Lovely lovely fingerboard.

Well dude, God gives us 24 hours in each day. Maybe you can do a side job or freelance work to raise some $. That is literally how I could afford my first Roscoe. I did some freelance work and set up a separate account for it.

Go for it!

Freelance - what a novel idea!!

I have my full-time gig, teach 2 classes at a local college, play whenever I can (fill-in), manage 5 Web sites, do voice-over, on-hold telephone productions and ad copy writing, and have been asked to do consulting for school marketing and enrollment enhancement with materials I created - which would pay for one....there's just no time to do it (and would create a conflict of interest with the full-time gig!)

No time, no dime....

The thing about freelancing is that everyone wants what you offer - for FREE! I'm thinking about calling it "paylancing" from now on.

hmmm

What I find interesting about Roscoe Basses....

1: His basses are solid, even though some don't have as many wood combo's (5 in some cases) as other basses.

2: They have this deep CLEAR bottom, hard to explain unless you have owned one, and the mids are clear as well.

3: Tightest B string I have ever had or played, PERIOD! even when the strings get old. Go figure. People argue over B strings all the time, but I have never heard of a legit complaint about a Roscoe B string being weak. Roscoe basses should put all the arguments about bolt on vs neck through as to which contributes to the best B strings. I think he could get the same results on a broom stick!

4: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

What else is there?

Hey Joe, you feeling ok? You look a little green in your avatar.

Hey, isn't there a Roswell, GA as well?

You need to add your hat from your previous avatar to the new one.
