If you could, what would you?

Hey Roscoe Gang,
It's been a little while since we've had a fun "if you could, what would you do" thread, so I thought I'd get things started. If Gard were to fork over a stack of cash, what Roscoe would you grab that is currently available from a Roscoe dealer? I'm sure you guys have some thoughts (and I'm sure that some of you have had your eye on something for a while, if I know my Roscoeheads).

Heck, even I can't afford these right now!

Here's the one I'd get if "money were no object":

That bass is pretty sweet Gard, but I would go with Screaming Souls Century Signature because the Amboyna is HOT!

Well Jay, since your asking:

Not available, but with Gard's cash I'd go with:

An SKB3005 from that walnut top at your shop:

A fretless ebony fingerboard with partial lines like:

(fill in the lines with left over walnut?)

Spanish Cedar body,
Wenge Maple Wenge neck
Standard Bart set up,
Black hardware,
mother of pearl "R" on headstock,

Maybe we need to talk............

I haven't seen anything currently available at a .....

Roscoe dealer that I wished I could "snap up". If I had the money, I'd be ordering 2 LG3006s with the straight pickup configuration. One fretted and one fretless. Probably Exhibition grade Flame Maple in Burst Blue and Burst Teal.

Roscoe fantasies are always great fun. I think I'd spend the big bucks on an SKB 3007. Ash with a walnut top, and definitely a maple fingerboard. I'd want to learn more about the sonic characteristics of the wenge wedge neck, but that seems like an interesting route.

I like this SKB 3005 with a figured ash top, ash body, wenge wedge neck, and birdseye maple board.

Big surprise....I failed to accurately read the original post. Doh....sorry about that! So, my REAL answer follows.

Tough call between two instruments. First would likely be this one @ Rocket Music:

I love the look, and it just calls out like it's got some serious music in it.

Second would be this one...surprise, surprise...another SKB 3006!...at my local shop:

Always fun to daydream and window shop!

Ooooooooh, I'll have what he's having! (is that Bubinga?)

Actually, that about sums it up. I would like the bass that Cactusman is looking at, as well as the one Youngs is looking at, JOME, BKing, CrashClint, especially Gard, VroomVroom, let me know if I've left anyone out.

Poacher wanna be's. . .

Actually I have yet to see one of my dream Roscoes:
  1. SKB-3005 fretless - no lines (although those partial lines are very hot!)
  2. Alder body
  3. Exhibition walnut top
  4. Bart/Bart electronics

That would be a sweeeeeeet mama!
