PRETTY bass!!!!
Cherryburst over a nice flame maple top- WITH body binding!!!!
Rosewood fingerboard.
Bt I'm not 100% sure on the body wood. Looks like mahogny. But then again, the darker red of the finish on the back, it could be ash.
It's REAL warm sounding. Quite the player as well.
I know, no pics, no bass.....I'll toss up a few when I get home from dinner.

I think we both have Spanish Cedar bodies (without seeing yours, of course). Mine is Pinline Spalted Maple on a Spanish Cedar body, although there is a 3rd laminate in the middle, which I did not see until after it arrived (used); I think it is mahogany, but Gard may know more.

Can you tell what type of wood is on my LG in between the Maple and Cedar? Looks similar in grain to the Spanish Cedar, but I wonder if it is a type of mahogany for more punch? Just curious. Hopefully you are able to see the photo I posted. |

Wait. This thing has black hardware? Is Joe aware of this? (I joke because I, too, am a big fan of black hardware.) |

What you are seeing there is a "pinstripe", not a lamination!
There is a veneer between the Spanish Cedar and Spalt Maple, but the other part is just the Spanish Cedar without a stain on it...

These are WAY crappy pics.......
The finish is much much "brighter" than it shows. Here it looks almost like a tobacco burst- trust me, it's a brighter, nice cherry burst.
And the flame is REAL nice. Pops right up.
I'll try and get some better ones tonight (these were taken with my phone).

So far it's pretty sweet! (just needs a D-Tuner....)
