Interesting combination...

...we got a custom order for something strange, decided "hey, if they ask for it, we'll do it..."...

...purple stain on myrtle burl.



Sounds like a bad idea right?

We didn't really know what would happen, but who are we to question someone's idea of "good"?

Strangely enough, well...you be the judge (we like it):

I like it a lot, but on my screen it looks more cranberry than purple. Does anyone else see that too?

Purpleheart. The customer wanted the board and body to match in color, which is tricky to pull off....but I think the guys did a pretty good job!
