Closest to the pickup: Blend
Straight down from that: Midrange cut/boost (push/pull for 400/800 hz)
To the back: Stack treble/Bass cut/boost

How's the Mahogany body sound? | I picked the bass up from a local guy. The Mahogany seems to have a nice acoustic tone about it similar to Cedar but maybe a little more compressed, it works well with the Aguilar preamp. At just under 10 pounds it is stout but the extra mass seems to produce a really nice tone. Weight wise to me it feels like I am playing a mia jazz bass. |

I have always thought the Aguilar preamps had a real nasal sounding mid and have never been a fan, but with the wood combination and Roscoe Bart pickups the mid is much smoother. My spare Demeter preamp and Bart Classic pickups will be staying on the shelf. |

God Bless, Ray | She thought it looked very nice and it matches nicely with the Amboyna top on Madison my CS Plus. I will have to take a picture of the two side by side. |

That would be a nice temporary fix for GAS down the road.
Just trying to keep it real! |
