I haven't really seen a Roscoe that wasn't pretty damn stunning, but I do find something magnetic about myrtle. That only has one coat of oil on it, so it's just hinting at the finished product.

It has a sweet glow about it, I think.

Big fat kudos for choosing the oil finish. I'm a complete sucker for Roscoe's magnificent work with clear poly gloss finishes, but oil couldn't possibly be more right for this top.

Awesome!

As Harpo marks would say " ........................!"

As with all Roscoe's, I will be watching while eating my popcorn. Unfortunately, my 3 Roscoes have sidelined any new purchases for now.

Man, that's awesome! Nice to see that incredble top put to use. Kudos, Todd!

There's another body that I have pics of that I need to share tomorrow. That one is solid myrtle, and it's pretty banging, too.

Way to go Todd! I hate to admit it but that top is the one I always associated with "female anatomy".

There's another floating around that is blatently obvious, but that one I giggle like a 12 year old when I see it.

God Bless, Ray

Ray - it's scratch & sniff, too. AMAZING new technology that Roscoe is pioneering. Playing the bass is guaranteed to make you randy.

If that be the case I suggest staying away from the neck on this one.

Bridge playing only.

God Bless, Ray

it's going to be interesting to see what the diamondwood board holds in store. The Roscoe shop seems like a box of chocolates...

Great looking bass body, man. That looks amazing.

Are we myrtle brothers from a different mother?

Yah, we're Jerry's myrtle Roscoe love children. Now we know why he calls it his fertile myrtle.

Very nice.
I just love Myrtle.
Gard, just shoot me a picture of my solid myrtle body SKB3005.
Only one coat on it now also.
But it looks nice.
Maybe Gard will post picture?
