You got a good deal if that was an even trade. But I'd rather have a Roscoe SKB 5 or Century Sig. 5 over the MTD 5 anyday. I have never played a Roscoe 4 but based on my 10+ years of experience with 3 LG 3005's and a Century Sig 5, I'm sure the 4 stringers don't suck!!

I feel ya' Molan , since I have been on this board though I've seen some real peculiar transactions amongst TB'ers almost like a revolving door as far as the basses go... GAS is funny like that I guess....

I'm pretty glad there's a place where we, as bassist, can come together and make transactions happen that can be beneficial to us all...'cause that's what got me my SKB-3005! I traded my MTD 535 for my SKB and a couple of hundred bucks. I guess I shoulda' said I traded "AN" MTD 535...I still have another one!
