Look what's coming my way!

Last time I did this, I jinx'd myself....let's hope it doesn't happen again.
Supposed to ship tomorrow:

Would have bought Jerry's, but this came through a trade deal.

Guess it was on the Perfect Bass web site in an ad.
Bought from them in 07. Don't have the serial number yet. I'll post it when I do.
But here are the specs from the ad:
Exhibition grade Quilted Maple top and back
Soft Maple body
Tobacco Sunburst finish
Maple wedge neck
Bolivian Rosewood center lamination with Rosita stringers and Maple and Cherry accent laminations
Katalox fingerboard
Bartolini pickups and preamp

I'll trade ya!

I'll be willing to bet though, it's gonna sound like a bass. A GOOOOOODDDDD bass!
Just talking out loud. Don't have it yet. Just sayin'.

This one may end up sportin' the V-Bass and free up my red one for just "regular" bass work!

Similar to ebony, but we don't use it any longer.

"Katalox" - The type of cars that a pimp drives south of the Mason-Dixon line .........

Nice Mike! I really like the traditional look of the bass.
The best playing Roscoe 3006 that I've owned looked very similar, except with a cocobolo finger board and Spanish cedar body.

Muchos congratulations Mike! I've eyed that bass before!

I had a Roscoe with katalox and loved it. Very much like ebony but not "clacky" on the top side like ebony. It was very stable and consistent - no dead spots.

Man, you should really love this bass!

...and the 4-string, is it sold?

Actually took it back.
Discovered other issues with the neck.
There were other cracks in it near the neck joint.

GREAT bass though. Sounded NICE.
Just wasn't comfortable with the issues. I will say that everything was professionally repaired and the work was top shelf.

You better hide behind that brick wall 'cause if you do that the "Hardware Police" will definitely come looking for you!

I'm a completely subjective black hardware lover. Don't ask my opinion.
