Loose Tooth Bart

Hey Fellas,

The treble/bass pot on my fretless SKB is loose and wiggly. I opened her up in the back and found that the pot itself is damaged and it is not just a proceure of tightening a nut.

I'm sure my repair/replacement is not totally uncommon. Anyone know where a guy could get a new treble/bass Bart pot cheap?

Thanks mucho,

Doug

Doug, it's a pretty common part, I believe you can source it from AllParts (800-327-8942). It's an audio taper 50K stacked knob with center detent.

If they don't have it, let me know and I'll see if we have any spares (we typically don't actually, just have enough for the preamps we have in stock...but sometimes we get an extra...).

Doug,
Brian at bestbassgear.com also stocks them.

If you don't mind a used one I have a few laying around that came out of repair jobs that I replaced pre's on. PM me your address and I'll be glad to get one out to you.
