Is lem-oil safe to use on the fingerboard (spalted purpleheart) of my Roscoe? What should I use to keep the neck clean? Standard guitar polish?

I use Dunlop 65 lemon oil on my Roscoe fingerboards and Virtuoso polish on the body.
