Met a guy playing a sweet Roscoe in Memphis

I happened to roll through Memphis around on the way home from a family reunion, so the wife and I decided to get some dinner on Beale St. We ended up in BB King's Blues Club. I didn't catch the name of the band playing (blues covers, go figure), but the bassist was playing an absolutely beautiful Roscoe 6string. I believe it was an SKB series with the two-tone fretboard. It sounded great! I talked to the bassist for a minute and he was a nice guy as well.

Just wanted to share my story.

EDIT: I think this was the guy:

That's cool, Scotty. It's good to hear about a blues bassist breaking from the mold of playing only a J or P bass.

During my only visit to Memphis, Elvis died. True story. My band gigged there during August of '77.
