middle sammich besides wenge?

Hey Gard and resident Roscoe heads. I have a question. Is it possible to have a different species for a middle laminate besides wenge? I don't know, let's say, purpleheart between a maple sammich for instance?

I've attained better a credit rating and I am looking for ways to destroy it... Please help!

Actually, on the Customs and Signatures, the 'standard' neck is maple/purpleheart/maple. The wenge is an option.

Maybe he's referring to the body sammich.

Damon, the answer is "Yes!". We've done quite a few species as the "shim" as we refer to it, including purpleheart, flame maple, Spanish cedar, ash, and mahogany.

I did neglect to say I was talking about bodies. My bad.

I am all about natural wood color contrasts. Thanks Gard!
