Thumbs up Mini Georgia TB Fun Day!

Well we had a mini Georgia TB fun day today and it turned into a gathering of Roscoe's! Of course since Sha975 showed up and brought all 4 of his Roscoe's I guess that would be understandable!

Sha975 and Leurastus played basses while I set up basses. Of course I eventually got to play them too!

Sha975 sure has some nice Roscoe's (one was particuarly hard for me to pick up and play.....
but I enjoyed playing them all!

Leurastus brought the outliner (Sadowsky) but hopefully Sha and I have convinced him to come over from the dark side to the light!

........Leurastus.......Keith is your father!

It was really neat to be able to A/B all of the Roscoes with different wood, p/u and electronics combinations. We played 'em all through either an Eden 1205 & Eden 410 cab or an Eden 550 & Epi UL-112. Sweet tones!

Fun, fun, fun!!!!

P.S. I wonder how many days it'll be before Sha975 opens up all of his gig bags and realizes that he's missing a couple Roscoes?

Roscoe day in GA!

I to really enjoy getting together with Jome77 and leurastus. You guys showed me a bunch of new chops also so likewise thanks!

Joe,
you almost scared me there but after verifying that all 4 was there I could breath again Besides that, my wife stood at the door with a check list until I brought every last piece of equipment back in the house

On a serious note, Joe is good guy who made me feel like I was right at home...(well not exactly right at home since Joe stays in a mini manson). Joe treated us all to great food and I got (4) free setups on all my axes Hey Joe my offer still stands my 4 Roscoes for your crib Since I clearly know the answer to that all already I'll give you my real feelings...sure would be nice to add your 6 to my collection...they sure look nice together! See ya next time around bro!

So THAT'S what that rumble I felt from the south was....I thought maybe the Shuttle was landing (reference from my Orlando days) or we had one of our infrequent minor earthquakes here in NC....

...sounds like a good time, wish I could have been there!

Leu - good to talk to you on the phone! I'm sure you'll find a buyer for your Sadowsky.

Let me look for a pic of my Roscoe and I can share it with you.

It was a blast but I think that I am going to have to call my foundation guy back becuse it appears that my house vibrated a couple of inches off the blocks!

Dog gone that killer Roscoe "B"!!!

Hey Jerry! What's up? I hope everything is going well with you Bro!

Yeah, there was definitely a small fortune in basses and amps at the house that day!

I guess that you're still digging your ash Roscoe with the Demeter pre. The ebony 3006 in the picture had the Demeter/Bart combo and really rocked.
Still a real sweet combo.

Luke (leurastus) step into the light..see the big bright light.. Luke step into the big bright light

Leurastus I knew you'd come around especially after learning how true triplets are played on a "real bass!"

just joking, just joking..nothing against Sadowskys..I guess they would do...that is if there were no Keith, Gard or Roscoes I just can't bare that thought somebody please tell me I'm dreaming...Oh thank God...it's all been a dream, my 4 Roscoes are still nesting in the cases

Joe...I've been convinced for quite some time that you could have a Roscoe/GA get-to-gether all by yourself based on the number of Roscoes you currently (or have, at one point) owned! It's nice to see that Akito's old 3-piece ebony top bass has found a good home. I was really impressed with that project and was sad to see it leave when it did.

Joe, Let me put it this way, my Cirrus has gotten so jealous, I've caught it trying to sneak out of the house on more than one occasion.

I hear you Jay!
Akito's former 3006 really had a phat sound. Fairly heavy instrument but worth it's weight in tone!

Speaking of new homes, another BHB creation, XavidmanX's 3006, has definitely found a permanent home! It's really grown on me and become my favorite sounding and playing Roscoe yet. Awesome!

Jerry,
With a Roscoe in the house, that poor Cirrus just never had a chance!

That would be like starting Byron Leftwich at quaterback when you have a healthy Payton Manning on the bench!

2009?????????????? I'll definitely have another 10 Roscoes by then

Hey Joe,

you'd better add on to that mini manson for my additonal family members soon to come. Did I mention that I'm having quintuplets next year?

Joe, I love how your 6 looks in these shots! I got used to seeing them in other shots, but it makes me appreciate what you got.

No offense sha! Just admiring the gallery!

No offense taken and the very exact reason I'm trying to add Joe's 3006 to my collection (My bass)...I mean Joe's bass really is a one-of-a-kind and those pictures hardly do it justice. In fact, I would venture to say that most pictures of Roscoes look a whole lot better in person. I guess the camera lens just can't handle catching all that beauty!
