Cool more skb5006 pics and questions

My bass has 2 truss rods why aren't there two anymore?
Don't really know how they affect adjustability cuz it's been a decade or so since they needwed any adjustment. Do you think this longevity of stability was helped by the second truss rod?

The decorative arc at the end of the fingerboard seems like another lost feature.
not for nothin' but I think it looks way cooler than the squared off fingerboard.

Are the sperzels a thing of the past also? I think they are the beez neez funtionally and asthetically.

Am I just stuck in the past?

Are there any ROSCOE heads out there with a current 7 string model?

How about it; would any of you "newer" customers have liked
to see these design elements on your axes?

It looks like you 5006 has 19mm sttring spacing too. That's a wide neck!
You might could rationalize a need for having 2 truss rods with a wider neck but the standard 3006 seem very stable with just the single truss rod. Personally, I've owned and serviced quite a few intruments with dual truss rods and I've really not noticed any significant difference in overall control of the neck. IMO if the neck is build correctly it'll respond just fine to a single truss rod.

You've got a cool looking bass though!
